The gift

I got a gift the other day. Well.....I have yet to actually have it in my hands but its there waiting for me to pick up. It's a backpack. Now, some folks would say, "Big deal Art..a backpack?".  To me its a big deal. It restores my faith in human kindness. Something so simple but to me is BIG. It means i'm one step closer to achieving my dream...my goal..what i MUST do. You see, when a person is in a finacial ditch such as i am even the small gifts (not small to me) in life can be life changing. I realize that i have been asking and asking and probably to some being a pain in the butt, yet i still ask...ask for help.
    I have soooooo many thoughts in my head and to be honest im having a hard time putting them into words here on this blog. A lot of people have questioned me as to why i want to do this long walk. All i can say is, "I just have to!!" I just have to. I feel like there is a big empty void in my life and this will fill it. I wont know until i do it. Also, I will raise money for a charity to be announced.
 So, i ask...can you help me? I need a single man tent. Must be ultra lite as i will be carrying it on my back. A sleeping bag to. Remember, I will be carrying my home on my back and these things to me will be all i have for my journey. It will be MY LIFE.

UPDATE

I have decided to walk cross country instead of riding a bike. Maybe coast to coast or perhaps from Los Angeles to the Canadian border and back. Many options but not sure yet. Stay tuned as i will update this whem im 100% sure.

Update....... Well, still looking for work and no luck yet. Im trying to not be discouraged as something has to happen soon. Im still in need of a bike so thats something thats on my mind every single day. 
 As everyone knows, its very cold and lots of snow across the country so i cant ride until the weather conditions improve. This buys me time. Im running and trying to keep in shape for the BIG RIDE!!!  
 I cant end this update without mention of the people in my life that have had a big influence on my decision to ride cross country so here they are; My Nephew, JORDAN ROMERO. ABBY SUNDERLAND and her brother, ZAC SUNDERLAND. Also, JOSEPH MACHADO and his Father, ROBERT MACHADO. Thanks for all you do for the youth across America and around the world!!!

First things first

Im getting my prioritys in place. First things first. YES, i want to ride a bike coast to coast but i do need a bike first and foremost. I have to be patient. Get a job, buy a bike, train like crazy, train more and more and more. THEN i will start considering when and how im going to fullfill my dreams. It takes money and lots of it to do what i want to do. NOTHING IS FREE!!!!!!!!!!   Okay!!!!  GOT IT!!!!   In good time.
